LEGO Advent Calendar 2022
For many reasons, Christmas is my favourite time of year.
When it comes to LEGO, there are many seasonal LEGO sets that are released, which I look forward to. The LEGO Advent Calendar sets are top of my list for this time of year. Their variety of parts and minifigs make these sets so interesting.
The City and Friends sets may have the best value, but Harry Potter, Star Wars and Marvels probably generate the most interest.
Marvel – Guardians of the Galaxy LEGO Advent Calendar– 76231
Marvel makes a welcome return with a set that is themed with “Guardians of the Galaxy”. The set includes 6 minifigures that includes Rocket, Groot, Star-Lord, and Mantis.
There are also a variety of mini-builds that grab my attention. I love the look of the Guardian’s spaceship and the snowman dressed in Thanos’ armour.
City LEGO Advent Calendar – 60352
This year the City Advent Calendar holds 6 minifigures that include Billy, Maddy, Tippy, Mr. Produce and Raze. The set contains several interesting builds that develop a snowy winter wonderland scene.
Look out for Santa and a foal (which no doubt will please animal collectors).
Friends LEGO Advent Calendar – 41706
What do you get in the Lego Friends advent calendar?
For the variety of parts, this Friends Advent Calendar set lives up to its reputation. The colour and joy make this another great set to own.
There are several Friends’ characters that include a Santa and two mini-dolls. The surprise find in this set will be the reindeer, which will look great in your winter village scene.
Star Wars™ LEGO Advent Calendar – 75340
This Advent Calendar does not disappoint, which includes some delightful minifigures, such as C-3-PO and R2-D2 in festive outfits, Darth Vader in a summer outfit, Luke Skywalker, a Clone Trooper Commander, and a Snowtrooper.
There are 10 “mini-build” vehicles that include a Republic Gunship, Bad Batch Shuttle, and Luke’s Landspeeder.
Harry Potter™ LEGO Advent Calendar – 76404
With 334 parts, this set holds much fascination, as it relives amazing scenes from the first and second films. The set contains 7 minifigures including Harry Potter, Moaning Myrtle, Sirius Black, Lord Voldemort, Nymphadora Tonks, Horace Slughorn, and Neville Longbottom.
There are amazing mini-builds that will keep us looking forward to the next day’s surprise. Personally, I love the mini Hogwart’s Express, Quidditch, and Whomping Willow. They look great.
The LEGO Advent Calendars will be available from 1 September 2022. Which one is your favourite?
