LEGO Technic in 2022

The premier Technic set for 2022 is undoubtably the BMW M 1000 RR (42130). It boasts 1,920 pieces and is launched in the 18+ range. The set monster is definitely aimed at the expert builder. The outcome of this challenge unquestionably will be worth the effort.

Perhaps the best review of this fantastic set can be found in the YouTube channel for Racing Brick. Be sure to watch this review if you are at all interested in this set.

There are several smaller sets, but no less interesting. LEGO continues the ‘Monster Truck’ sub-theme in 2022, and be sure look out for Monster Jam Megalodon (42134) and Monster Jam El Toro Loco.

For those of us who cannot afford the BMW M 1000 RR (42130), be sure to get Motorcycle (42132). With 163 pieces, it will be a quick build. However, keep a lookout on Rebrickable.com for alternate builds that are sure to follow.

Talking of smaller builds, do you remember the Helicopter (30465) launched in 2021, which came in a Polybag? It sported 70 pieces. It was a great little build and came some amazing parts.

Well LEGO continues this with the Volvo Wheel Loader (30433) polybag. It includes 69 pieces and promises to be a fun build. And when all is said and done, the parts will be an awesome addition to your collection. Like the Helicopter (30465), I am sure this will also deliver some interesting alternate builds.
