May the fourth be with you! May the 4th has become an informal, but special day, to celebrate everything Star Wars™. It is an annual festive occasion where fans celebrate Star Wars™, all of its movies and TV series, video games and all that makes up this science fiction cosmos.
Created in 1977 by George Lucas, 45 years later, the popularity of Star Wars™ continues to grow. You need look no further hype around TV series like “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett” to see that the franchise is just as strong as it ever has been.
LEGO® celebrates this special day with its own tradition. We are spoiled annually with an exclusive gift with purchase.
There were some rumours that 2022 might be the exclusive polybag [30625] – “Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk”. But that polybag remains exclusive to the video game.
This 2022 exclusive is, however, something quite special (perhaps more so?). The gift with purchase will be the set Lars Family Homestead Kitchen [40531], which features the minifigure Beru Lars.
According to Star Wars™ lore, Luke Skywalker was sent away by Obi-Wan Kenobi to live and be raised by Owen and Beru Lars on the planet Tatooine.
This is an important set, as it celebrates an aspect and heritage of Luke Skywalker.
The set itself is incredibly feature rich with many aspects that are easy on the eye. Despite, what may feel like a monochrome “set”, the kitchen scene is full of the details we have come to expect from LEGO®
